On a summer evening, guided by Kogimi, Genji steals into the mansion and peeks at Utsusemi playing go with her stepdaughter Nokiba no Ogi. Slipping into their bedchamber late at night, Genji is evaded by Utsusemi, who swiftly flees leaving only an unlined robe behind.
